![]() Maybe you could enhance the static analysis which already exists with some kind of analysis/theorycrafting of your own? Warhammer has sprawled into a massive game with more units than anyone can reasonably analyze. This concept doesn't resonate with me because in Total War games, normally the detailed analysis is something you do outside of the game in a static environment, like in a Wiki for example. "Detailed unit and faction guides for on-the-go strategy adjustments." You'll have to break this down into bite-size chunks and take them on one at a time. Once you do this, you can do a very basic analytic action for simplicity's sake, then display your analysis on some kind of UI. My only question is how you intend to get the data out of the game and into your analytic environment. For your data-heavy games franchises from studios like Paradox, for example, there are big opportunities here to make something interesting. There are azure-based microservices and now AI driven analytic tools you can use to analyze data and provide some type of feedback which are superior to anything currently used in gaming. ![]() Lots of strategy games have "advisors" or "tips" capable of reacting to your actions in very limited ways baked into the user interface but they are woefully inadequate. "A real-time strategy planner to help manage campaigns." Even if the only user is yourself, that can be a big success. Nevermind the naysayers in the chat, in my experience and in my opinion, you will learn a lot and create something interesting if you apply yourself. I wish you the very best of luck with this one.
